Dan Barrett

Dan qualified from the University of Southampton with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2001.

He is registered with the:

  • Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
  • Health and Care Professions Council
  • Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists

Dan spent the first few years of his career at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital gaining valuable experience in numerous aspects of physiotherapy. Since 2003, Dan has specialised in 'musculoskeletal' physiotherapy (muscles, ligaments, joints, bones etc). He spent over ten years working in both private practice, at the highly respected Witty, Pask & Buckingham practice, and GP surgeries.

In 2018 Dan established The Ashby Clinic, working exclusively in private practice and has seen thousands of clients, with a huge range of conditions, gaining a wealth of experience.

Dan enjoys working with a broad range of individuals with different hobbies and interests, ages and backgrounds. This includes people who do little or no exercise all the way through to elite and competitive athletes. Dan's philosophy is that everyone is different and that their rehab should reflect this.

Away from work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, watching his children at rugby and netball and keeping fit, mainly through running up to marathon distances.
